301 Redirected Pages

does know if it's ok select "hide page search engines" on 301-redirected page? if checked defeat 301-redirect?

hi,

an old page no longer available can still remain indexed google example. scope of redirect (here's 1 scenario:) prevent user clicking on link google , ending nowhere. setting redirect enable user click on old url , end on new page. it's useful have new page indexed search engines in time more appear on searches, rather old (inexistent) one.

so basically, if "hide search engines" won't block redirect itself, you'll prolonging search results existence of page doesn't physically exist anymore.

kind regards,

alex
