Thread: php5-common unmet dependencies

i've been new user xubuntu around 3 months, , have been focusing on moving web-related work xubuntu.

1 of requirements web work install web server. have followed installing lamp ubuntu tutorial here : http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu_lamp_for_newbies

have installed apache , php. moving on install mysql. on step 4 of installing mysql, or more accurately, running command :

code:
sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-auth-mysql php5-mysql phpmyadmin
i encountered error displayed below

code:
reading package lists... building dependency tree... reading state information... packages not installed. may mean have requested impossible situation or if using unstable distribution required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of incoming. following information may resolve situation: following packages have unmet dependencies: php5-mysql: depends: php5-common (= 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.11) 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.14 installed
from can see, current version of php5-common have @ moment 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.14, installation of php5-mysql requires php5-common 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.11. besides that, synaptic package manager shows have php5-common 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.14.
