Adobe XI not responding


can not open adobe xi nor respond (shows "not responding" in task bar window).  not let me exit window, have restart computer.  can help.  reinstalled program w/no resolve.  error box appeared, "fatal error.  acrobat failed connect dde server".  have windows 7.

some users successful in resolving issue acrobat x navigating hkey_classes_root\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application , changing key "acroviewa10"  to  "acroviewr10.

try change similar key acrobat 11.

please export registry before making changes it.
