saving jpgs & pngs photoshop cc creating can describe obscene file bloat .  recently, should have been 7k jpg saved 1.1 mb jpg file.  pngs should average 100-150k coming out @ 1.3mb.  if use "save web", gives me proper sized images.   i have noticed on 2 computers --- 1 mac & 1 windows different file sets.  not issue of os, original files or specific 1 particular common item.   fyi -- doing same thing pshop cs6, proper file sizes.    i have included sample image here.  image straight out "save" pshop cc  -- 1.1mb.  however, when saved same image jpg in pshop cs6, 7k.     is else experiencing issue? if use quality 12 on jpg save bloat size, not sure much.  quality 10 need.   you need dig deeper in how saving, doubt file save has changed decades. every time close , re-open premiere...almost every 1 of multiclips seems revert slate shot. every clip seems hold same spot in cut footage looping , work has started over. if have not applied 7.0.1 update, please so. bug caused problem you're describing fixed in update. in cases, affected multicam sequences corrected fix, users have reported damage not undone. i'm linux neophyte struggling learning curve. few months ago, downloaded 10.04 lts livecd , configured first linux system. great fun - got firefox running, installed few applications, , explored many capabilities. had put project on hold due family obligations. today, booted system , found had no network connectivity. after eliminating bad ethernet cables , routers, started looking under covers. oddly, network connections page completly empty, added new wired connection. configured dhcp. rebooted. no luck. changed dhcp manual, , specified unused ip address (plus subnet mask, gateway, , dns). rebooted again. still no joy. off world of ifconfig. read many man pages , troubleshooting web sites. quickly, discovered eth0 down, turned up, insufficient. eventually, able reactivate network (1) assigning ip address, (2) defining default gateway, , (3) specifying dns server. wit: code: sudo ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.250 netmask 255.255.255.0 sudo route add ...

boy, driving me nuts, since nothing on system has changed ... except standard updates update manager. system same before, no new or different hardware, , i'm using same printer i've been using past 8 - 12 months. printer brother mfc j410w, connected via usb 2.0 cable directly computer. few days ago, perhaps week @ most, tried printing forms print on regular basis ... time nothing happened. print job stayed in cue long time ... without error messages. checked ... system ... printing ... , saw installed printer had appeared pause button on ??? wth ??? right clicked printer properties saw comment: printer unplugged or turned off what? how did happen? of course when checked everything, printer power & cable fine. okay, figured quirk weird reason , restarted computer. after restart printer worked fine, didn't have change anywhere. selected forms, chose print, , voila, both forms printed without problem. but ... today same thing happened. sam...

hi,   i using trial of lr5. have made adjustments radial filter. when "opening smart object in cs5," radial filter adjustments not show up. crop does, basic exposure adjustments, no radial filter.   anyone know why? show in cs6? not want go cc.   thanks help.     mf correct...you can't use raw smart object in cs5 (acr 6.x) , have same feature set in lr5. you'll need render raw file in lightroom 5 , won't able use sos unless (or until) update photoshop cs6 (acr 8.1) or photoshop cc (acr 8.1). hi there have problem impress. opened presentation, , tried insert animated image. after chose option insert menu, small pop-up window froze, , couldn't interact main file window. tried close small window no avail. closed file, , opened again: , small frozen window didn't go away! opened file, , "insert animated picture" window made appearance, although time managed close it. now, somehow, impress became corrupted. slide pane doesn't appears in of presentations now, if try use program crashes. how make lightroom automatically fill out altitude field well, when dragging picture onto map? i don't suppose it's common anywhere above (or below) ground level, , believe google maps has altitude information in it. @ least. , if on tall building, or in mine, still change afterwards.   i'm using lightroom 4.3 atm, can make this? i geotagging geosetter, , altitude filled in.   i don't know if lightroom's geotagging has ability.
