Thread: WiFi Issues

been watching ndiswrapper vids morning, , can't wusb54g or wusb100v1 see network, ethernet work. detects both , acts work, doesn't see network!!!! worked 100 think (detected , let me enable wifi), , ndiswrapped 54g, still doesn't see network , don't know do. want solved can better spot cuz right it's in awkwardest position, involving me sitting on small amp, monitor, keyboard , mouse on chair, , comp on large speaker, since place close enough router plug in , have stable , not on flimsy ping-pong table might snap , drop all.

also, nm-tool recognizes ethernet , 100, not 54g

on latest ubuntu 12.04lts beta2, downloaded , installed yesterday.

computer:
-amd phenom ii x4 960t 3ghz
-gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2p am3+
-kingston hyperx 8gb ddr3 1333mhz
-ocz agility 3 60gb solid state drive
-apex vortex 3620 computer case
-corsair tx750 750 watt power supply

(if anyone's interested built sell , prob on ebay later week ~$475 or $450 shipped, corsair h50 water cooler, doesn't have amd bracket 10 bucks think, can prob 5 or on ebay, , cpu unlock, since cooler isn't on re-locked them , haven't stressed them see if stable)

rebooted , 1 of them seeing wifi network, isn't connecting thow know password used correct.
