HELP: Can't Change Width on Slider Widget

i downloaded basic slider adobe muse widget library , have been working change dimensions of slider predefined dimension no luck. (here's slider: http://muse.adobe.com/widget/composition-slideshow-mansoor)

 

i using 960 grid , trying snap outer bars. when pull in 1 side stays when pull in other side doesn't stay, flies out before @ it's predetermined 930 pixel width. reason won't let me go lesser width that. suggestions?

 

check images inside slider , reduce width individually selecting them. after can reduce size of target container.
